YOUNG ONSET PARKINGSON'S GROUP MEETING.
The next Young Onset meeting will be 7:00 pm on February 16th, Room 7-9 Wege Center (normal meeting room) with Greg Brunette from Mary Free Bed's Driving Program as guest speaker. Please plan on joining us then. Drive carefully and be safe.

YOGA FOR PARKINSON'S
MEETING NOTE: Yoga for Parkinson's will not meet February 27 thru April 2. Classes will resume on Monday, April 9, 2012.
Yoga for Parkinson's class meets every Monday at 1:00 - 2:15 pm beginning January 16, 2012. See "Offered Classes" for more information.

DANCING WITH PARKINSON'S!
"Dancing with PD" - with the Grand Rapids Ballet Company! Each Tuesday - beginning January 17 - March 20 - enjoy a special Parkinson's dance class with the Grand Rapids Ballet Company. This FREE class takes place from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Grand Rapids Ballet - 341 Ellsworth Ave SW. Classes will include a seated warm up, Barre exercises and movements across the floor. "Aware in Care" kits are on order!
The National Parkinson's Foundation has launched a campaign called Aware in Care to draw attention to the fact that many people with Parkinson's are not getting quality care when they are in the hospital. This is resulting in more frequent and longer hospital visits, and serious health setbacks for hundreds of individuals living with Parkinson's Disease. Read more on our newsletters page.
