NOVEMBER 2007 SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS

  • NOTE: You may always call the PAWM office for information and/or to check on the time and place of the support group in which you may be interested.

  • Heather Hills Group will meet Tuesday, NOVEMBER 13, 2007 - 10:00 am at Heather Hills Retirement Village, 1055 Forest Hill SE, Grand Rapids
  • Sunset Manor Group will meet on Thursday, NOVEMBER 8, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Sunset Manor, 725 Baldwin, Jenison.
  • Holland/Zeeland support group will NOT meet IN NOVEMBER.
  • Covenant Village Group will NOT meet in NOVEMBER.
  • Young Onset Parkinson's Will NOT meet in NOVEMBER.
  • The new Greater Grand Rapids Area Support Group meeting will meet on Tuesday, November 27th at New Community Church, 2340 Dean Lake NE. at 1:00 pm. Please call the office (616) 954-8077 or Bev Schott (616) 363-7735 to let us know that you are planning on attending so we may plan refreshments.
  • The Spring Lake/Grand Haven/Muskegon Area Support Group will meet on Saturday, NOVEMBER 24TH at 2:00 pm at the Spring Lake Library. Call Doris Patton Johnson at (616) 842-6252 for further information.
  • The Grand Rapids Caregiver Support Lunch Group (Partners In Parkinson's) will meet Tuesday, NOVEMBER 13th - 11:30 am at Great Lakes Shipping Company, Burton SE. Call Bev Schott at 363-7735 or the PAWM office for reservations.
  • The Muskegon Area Caregiver Support Lunch Group will meet on Tuesday, NOVEMBER 13th at 11:00am at the Brownstone Restaurant at the Muskegon Airport. Call Mary Mitchell at (231) 780-3665 for reservations and/or directions.

  • PLEASE NOTE: The office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22nd & 23rd and open with limited hours on Monday, November 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

    NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW

    SUPPORT GROUP FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HAD OR ARE CONSIDERING HAVING DEEP BRAIN STIMULATION (DBS) SURGERY. Sponsored by the Hauenstein Parkinson's Center, this group meets on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - noon. The meetings are held at the Center - 260 Jefferson, Suite 260. Please call the Hauenstein Center at (616) 752-5400 or toll-free - 866-665-7275 for more information. The next meeting is scheduled for January 19, 2008.
